Market of Stars have modelled the size and weight after their favourite vintage French scarves to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use. Crafted from soft viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than the kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel. They make a wonderful gift too!
About the Print: Welcome to the Imaginarium — a whimsical ode to imagination, and the wonder of dreams! The sleeping woman comes from Albert Joseph Moore’s enchanting oil painting “Lillies”, while the elements of her dreamscape were created from drawings and paintings spanning three centuries — including scenes from the Boboli Gardens, Argyle House in Scotland, the Tiber River, a Japanese manor house, and a view through the arches of the Roman Colosseum. The 16 candle Chandelier is an imaginary design from a drawing done in 1632, and the fanciful trim is taken from an English textile fragment from 1785.
