The Pattern Book creates beautiful greetings cards from vintage graphics. Whether in a long-forgotten catalogue, an old scientific illustration, an obscure, even baffling, technical drawing, we’re fascinated by art, science and the history of ideas, seeking out thoughtful and unique designs in unusual places.

Adapted from 'Johnson’s household book of nature, containing full and interesting descriptions of the animal kingdom based upon the writings of the eminent naturalists, Audubon, Wallace, Brehm, Wood and others' (1880). Courtesy Library of Congress. 170mm x 120mm (6 3/4" x 4 3/4"). Blank inside. Individually wrapped in a compostable bag with a 120gsm recycled kraft envelope. Printed with vegetable-based inks on a carbon neutral press using responsibly sourced, 300gsm Italian paper.
